Finger Pulse Oximeters provide a reliable, accurate, non invasive, fast and very simple method of measuring the oxygen concentration in your blood and at the same time your heart pulse rate.
The Finger Oximeter fits (rather like an oversized clothes peg) over the end of your finger and shines a tiny beam of light, set to specific wave lengths, through your finger tip. It then measures the amount of light absorbed by your finger and from the readings obtained is able to calculate the level of oxyhemoglobin present. The oxygen level is then instantly displayed (updating constantly) as a % saturation. Your pulse rate is also displayed numerically. More advanced models display this information in a moving graph form (PLETH Waveform).
Pulse Oximetry, referred to as "SpO2" is now the medical profession's standard method of measuring your oxygen level.
We now offer a range of Finger Pulse Oximeters to suite the needs of both professional organisations and domestic users whether needing to monitor their oxygen levels for health reasons or simply during their energetic sports activities. |
