"My Time" should not be confused with the original "Mama TeNS" which is still available for purchase or hire.

Introduced in June 2009 this unit follows the same format as TensCare's I-Touch range of standard TeNS units.

This is a modern fully digital twin channel device with two preset programmes each of which has two modes of operation. There is also a "maximum power" feature that you can set to your personal maximum comfort level. The unit's output power limit is more than sufficient at 70mA per channel.

As with most modern Obstetric TeNS all its controls are on the unit itself and it's supplied with a "quick release" neck cord for maximum convenience and ease of use.

"My Time" has a unique "Labour Log" which measures:

- the length of time you've been in labour
- the duration of your last contraction
- the time interval between your last contraction.

Useful and accurate information to help keep track of how your labour is progressing.

My Time has two pre set programmes each with a "background" and "boost" mode. Programmes "A" are designed for early stages whilst programmes "B" are held in reserve for later stages when the need for higher strength is likely.

An additional feature "Power Ramp" allows you to set and then control the use of a very high level of stimulation useful for the final stages of labour.

As with "Mama", My Time uses electrodes with integral leads specifically made for this device. It is therefore important to order "My Time" electrodes if and when you require additional sets.

We regret we're unable to supply our standard "Test" electrodes with this model.

Our aim is to despatch all orders (except advanced booking for Maternity TeNS Machine Hire) the working day they're received. Our normal cut off time is 4 pm each day. If you place an order around or after this time and you're anxious to receive your goods asap we recommend you call us for confirmation of despatch.

Unless otherwise specified (or requested) for UK destinations our standard is Royal Mail 1st Class Post which, under normal circumstances, should reach you within 2 or 3 days.

Royal Mail's "Next Day Delivery" is available to you as an option during our CheckOut process. Please remember your postman will require a signature upon delivery.

Heavy items (typically nebulisers) will be sent by Courier (DHL or TNT) for "next working day" delivery. Please note the courier will require a signature and for domestic addresses may deliver any time between 9 am and 9 pm Monday to Friday. Deliveries to Scottish Highlands and Islands may take longer.

Items for destinations outside of the UK will be sent using International Registered Post. Delivery time will vary according the country and local postal services.
