Neurotrac Labour TeNS machine has 2 preset operating modes selected by a traditional hand held switch.

It turns on (always) in Rest Mode. You adjust the levels to your own comfort.

When your contraction begins you press the hand control to change to Boost Mode. As it changes the unit automatically ramps up it's intensity by 20% - you can adjust either way at any time.

At the end of your contraction a further click of the hand switch returns the unit to Rest Mode again.

Neurotrac Labour is extremely powerful. Unlike many others it retains it's signal characteristics (therefore it's effectiveness) throughout it's full power range.

Super Size Electrodes

All our Maternity TeNS use (as standard) maternity electrodes which are twice the size of electrodes used for normal pain relief. This extra coverage is essential to achieve the powerful effect required during childbirth.

Standard maternity electrodes measure 50 x 100 mm.

We now offer an optional upgrade to Super Sized electrodes which, measuring 50 x 150 mm, are half as big again.

We cannot tell you these will double the effect but we can tell you that our Super Size electrodes will make the very best of whichever TeNS unit you choose.

If you have any doubts regarding the effectiveness of TeNS during childbirth, this is the option for you.

Our Super Size electrodes are available as a selectable upgrade option when you purchase or hire your Maternity TeNS machine.

If you place your order within 4 weeks of your Due Date your hire unit will be despatched the same (working) day the order is received. Our normal cut off time is around 4pm. If you place an order around or after that time and you're anxious about delivery please call us and we'll do our best to get it into that day's post.

Our standard is 1st class post which should reach you within 2 or 3 days.

Guaranteed Next Day Delivery (Royal Mail) is available as an option during checkout.

If you place an advanced order (greater than 4 weeks before your Due Date) your order will be held and then processed one calendar month before your Due Date. Your card will not be charged until this time.

If you order a birth ball (or other goods) along with an advanced order for a Hire TeNS this / these items(s) will be posted separately straight away. You will not be charged for your Hire unit until its ready for despatch.
