The Novasonic is a lightweight, precision made, CEMDD marked, Electro-Medical Appliance which is remarkably simple to use. Just plug it in and switch on. It conforms to the gold standard for medical devices.
There are no ongoing "consumable" costs.
The switch on the Novasonic has three positions - OFF is in the centre. On one activates a new percussion affect designed for treating tight and tense muscles. The other side of the switch activates the Novasonic soundwave therapy. A separate control adjusts the intensity and depth of sound stimulation.
Two sound heads are included, one for application to the back, large joints and muscle areas, the other for treatment of small joints, such as fingers and toes, and treating facial pains such as sinusitis and migraine.

What is the Novasonic?
Novasonic uses high frequency "Intrasonic" sound waves designed to penetrate deep into your body tissue. The energy from these sound waves is absorbed resulting, in effect, in a deep massage of the surrounding tissue. This quickly and effectlively disperses localised fluid and toxins. It stimulates the production of hormones, increases blood flow and encourages the introduction of fresh nutrients. The overall effect is that your natural healing processes are given a major boost.

What is the difference between Ultrasound and Infrasound?
Ultrasound uses frequencies above 20,000 Hz and it is used in medicine for both diagnosis (ultrasound scans and echocardiograms) and for the treatment of many conditions. Full blooded ultrasound penetrates very deeply and has to be very specifically targetted. At very high energy levels it can even be used to heat and destroy tumors. Even on a therapeutic basis Ultrasound can only be used by highly qualified medical professionals.
Intrasonic waves work at lower frequencies (16 to 20,000 Hz) and just like Ultrasound are completely silent. These frequencies are less powerful than Ultrasound and are perfectly safe even for home use. They penetrate about 60mm into the tissue so it's very easy to target a specific area such as a muscle or cartilage. Intrasonic waves have sufficient energy to stimulate healing but they are not strong enough to cause heat or to damage the tissue in any way. How do I use Novasonic?
Novasonic is lightweight, easy to hold and it plugs into a mains electricity socket. It offers a choice of frequencies, intensity levels and sound heads chosen and set according to the area and condition being treated. These are easy choices fully explained in it's comprehensive instruction manual. The head of the unit is then held on bare skin or over light clothing and gently moved in a circular pattern. It produces no noise nor any unpleasant sensation. Treatment time is usually five minutes and we suggest two or three treatments each day.
Contra Indications.
Novasonic should not be used in the vicinity of cardiac pacemekers or over metal or plastic inserts. Do not use during pregnancy or in the lower leg if you are suffering from thrombosis.
