This is a well designed obstetric TeNS with some unusual features:
Three preset programes (when labour begins, when contractions are regular and final stages of birth).
Programme change is made by pressing one of the 4 x control buttons built into the unit.
Each programme has a boost facility, used to increase the effect during contractions. "Background" mode uses a low frequency designed to slowly build the level of your endorphines, the bodies own natural pain killer. Boost mode uses a high frequency to block or mask the intense pain experienced at contraction time.
This unit automatically balances the intensity levels of the two sets of electrodes to provide a higher level of sensation for the upper pair (shoulder blade level).
Uses 2 x AA batteries (spare set included)
Frequencies range from 80 to 150 Hz
