The unit itself fits comfortably into your hand and you change from background to boost mode (and back) by just touching a sensor pad.
With (additional) standard electrodes Freedom can be used for normal pain relief before or after your baby is born. A short instructional video is included in every package.
For the technically minded - Background Mode runs at 30Hz and Boost runs at 80Hz, continuous signal.
